Functionality: Surfactant - Amphoteric

MACKAM® CAB-818 is a light coloured grade of CAPB with no unsaturation. Stability over a broad pH range and compatibility with anionic and cationic surfactants. Contributes mildness to formulations and is fully biodegradable, self preserving due to higher than normal active level.

MACKAM® CB-35 is low odour and stable in low pH range. Great viscosity building and foam properties.

MACKAM® CBS is a high foaming amphoteric surfactant with excellent foaming over a broad pH range. Low odour and colour, glycerin free.

MACKAM® DAB is a high performance amphoteric surfactant. Based on pure, 95% min. vegetable lauric (C12) acid. Compatible with anionic, nonionic and cationic surfactants.

MACKAM® LAB is a vegetable derived grade of Lauramine oxide that provides excellent foam boosting and foam stability. Compatible with anionic, cationic, nonionic and amphoteric surfactants, contains no amide or ester groups and will not hydrolyse in acid systems, can be used to incorporate cationic conditioners in anionic wash off systems. Salt free.

MACKAM® CBS-50G E high performance zwitteronic surfactant that is stable over a wide pH range. Highly compatible, it exhibits high foaming even in high electrolyte solutions and is stable in 19% sodium hydroxide. Exhibits foam synergy with common anionics and can be used in place of Cocamidopropyl Betaine to boost flash foam. Replaces cocamide DEA 1:1 (on actives basis) with similar, yet broader, salt thickening. Produced from coconut oil and is readily biodegradable and cold processable. Stable in both hard and soft water stable and has excellent lime soap dispersing properties.

MACKAM® 2800 Powder is a 85% powdered form of high purity Cocamidopropyl Betaine (CAPB), with a ‘stripped’ alkyl distribution. It exhibits high-foaming properties even in high electrolyte solutions, and is compatible with anionic, nonionic and cationic surfactants. It also offers exceptionally low and stable colour as well as low residual odour. In addition, when compared with standard grades of Cocamidopropyl Betaine, this highly efficient ingredient exhibits better flash foam and viscosity building characteristics with lauryl sulphates, lauryl ether sulphates and alpha olefin sulphates in anionic-based systems. MACKAM® 2800 Powder can be used in toothpaste and mouthwash applications and is also ideal in applications where very low water content is required, such as water soluble sachets, syndet bars and solid shampoos.
