Functionality: Surfactant - Amphoteric

MACKAM® 50ULB is a high active grade of cocamidopropyl betaine (CAPB) made from a low colour and odour, vegetable feedstock, 25% more concentrated than typical grades of CAPB which makes it hostile to microbial growth, eliminating the need for a preservative, boosts foam properties.

MACKAM® BAB is a coconut and palm kernel oil free grade alternative to Cocamidopropyl Betaine that has been derived from Babassu Oil which is more commonly found in the Amazonian Basin.

A high foaming betaine surfactant that demonstrates excellent stability properties over broad pH ranges. Typically it is used as a secondary surfactant in anionic based systems. MACKAM® BB/FLA improves overall foam quality and also helps improve formulation mildness.

MACKAM® C2M Conc NP is an amphoteric Secondary surfactant. Boosts foam properties. Builds viscosity. Reduces irritation from primary surfactant. Conditioning properties below pH7. Ideal for applications such as high foaming hospital cleansers and high alkalinity hard surface cleaners.

MACKAM® C37 B is a high purity grade of CAPB with “stripped” alkyl distribution for superior viscosity building and foam.

Mirataine® CB 35 HP ULS MB is an ultra low salt grade, particularly useful in systems where salt would be an issue. Very stable in both acid and alkaline pH systems.

Mirataine® DAB ULS MB is an “Ultra Low Salt” betaine that makes the formulators life easier, particularly when formulating sulfate-free cleansers. Coming with a much reduced level of salt versus standard betaines (0.5% max versus 5-7% for a regular betaine), it provides the freedom to use a betaine as a primary surfactant for an ultra gentle cleansing, while rendering possible the inclusion of cationic polymers, natural thickening polymers, sodium chloride-sensitive co-surfactants without facing clarity & stability issues.
