A high performance zwitteronic surfactant that is stable over a wide pH range. Highly compatible, it exhibits high foaming even in high electrolyte solutions and is stable in 19% sodium hydroxide. Exhibits foam synergy with common anionics and can be used in place of Cocamidopropyl Betaine to boost flash foam. Replaces cocamide DEA 1:1 (on actives basis) with similar, yet broader, salt thickening. Produced from coconut oil and is readily biodegradable and cold processable. Stable in both hard and soft water stable and has excellent lime soap dispersing properties.
Mackam DAB
High performance amphoteric surfactant. Based on pure, 95% min. vegetable lauric (C12) acid. Compatible with anionic, nonionic and cationic surfactants.
Mackam LAB
Vegetable derived grade of Lauramine oxide that provides excellent foam boosting and foam stability. Compatible with anionic, cationic, nonionic and amphoteric surfactants, contains no amide or ester groups and will not hydrolyse in acid systems, can be used to incorporate cationic conditioners in anionic wash off systems. Salt free.
Mackam Ultra C32
An ultra-pure amphoteric surfactant, imidazoline derivative. For baby and adult mild rinse-off products, it helps to reduce irritancy properties of anionic sulfate surfactants. Shows exceptional foam quality in blends with anionic sulphates when compared to other amphoterics and foaming performance is not affected by the hardness of water or changes of pH. Has synergy with conditioning polymers that leads to an increased deposition.

Mackamide C-5
Mackamide C-5 is a high active and cost effective viscosity builder, offering foam boosting and a stabilizing effect for rinse off formulations. Mackamide C-5 has been specifically developed to have a low free diethanolamine content to meet the European legislative requirements.
Mackamide CMA
1:1 coconut monoethanolamide. Highly effective viscosity booster and stabilizes foam in anionic surfactants based cleansers. Alternative to Cocamide DEA.
Mackamine C-14 E
Mackamine C-14 E is a light coloured amine oxide that helps provide some foam boosting and foam stabilising properties for rinse-off formulations or bath products. Additionally, as this grade is slightly higher in molecular weight to Lauramine Oxide it can offer a greater viscosity building effect.
Mackamine CAO
30% active Cocamidopropylamine Oxide that provides excellent foam boosting and stability properties in a wide spectrum of formulations, compatible with all surfactant types. Has mild conditioning properties in a low pH systems. Salt free.
Mackam 2800 Powder
85% powdered form of high purity Cocamidopropyl Betaine, with a ‘stripped’ alkyl distribution. Highly compatible it exhibits high foaming even in high electrolyte solutions. Offers exceptionally low and stable colour as well as low residual odour. Exhibits better flash foam and viscosity-building characteristics when compared to standard cocamidopropyl betaine in anionic-based systems. Excellent for use in bath and shampoo bars due to its mildness. Can also be used in oral products is ideal in applications where very low water content is required.
