Fermented oil with strong protective effects from microbial fermentation production. Provides anti-oxidant activity, skin soothing and skin barrier protection and repair.
Stratocare
Stratocare is an ingredient which follows suit with LABIO’s research into extremophiles from the furthest reaches of our planet, where the bacteria Bacillus stratophericus exists in the stratosphere despite lean air, ozone and a higher level of UV radiation. This species has evolved and adapted to thrive to keep this important zone of our planet clean, by producing its own natural surfactant, which is composed of 7 amino acids. LABIO have taken the knowledge of this surfactant and created an active ingredient which is aimed at sebum control and inhibition of the bacterial species that thrive on the face causing conditions such as acne.
The First
Produced by microbial fermentative production, ‘The First’ consists of adjusted carotenoids to induce a colourless ingredient that has strong anti-wrinkle properties. Highly multifunctional, it also offers Antioxidant activity, Anti-inflammation, Anti-blue light and Whitening properties. The micro-organism Deinococcus sp. has been listed in the Guinness World Record for holding the highest resistance against radiation.

Flexicare ZR-L
A high active, liquid odour neutraliser based on Zinc Ricinoleate obtained from a purified fatty acid from castor seed oil with 75% bio-renewable carbon. Zinc Ricinoleate works by trapping and locking in malodours stopping them from becoming volatile making it an effective addition to deodorant formulations of all types. Flexicare ZR-L is soluble in alcohol or surfactant based formulations.
DL Panthenol
D,L Panthenol is a water soluble powder of pro-vitamin B5 which is useful for all types of personal care formulations. In skin care, it works as a great moisturising agent to help reduce itching and inflammation. In hair care, it can penetrate the hair shaft working to improve elasticity and the overall shininess of the hair itself. The use of D,L Panthenol can also help to strengthen the nails.

Antarctic-G
An ingredient based on two extremophiles located in Antarctica, Pseudozyma Antarctica and Pseudoalteromonas sp. Having survived extreme temperatures and substandard conditions, they contain a high amount of Glyceryl Glucoside and Exopolysaccharides which increase the aquaporin activity in skin, resulting in enhanced moisturization, antioxidant, brightening, and anti-inflammation benefits.
