We’re always excited to share the latest innovations from our principal suppliers that will help formulators stay ahead of key trends. At in-cosmetics Global 2026, Sinerga launched two exciting new ingredients, HydroxyPro-Lift and Chitorepair GPC, as well as celebrating new efficacy tests for existing ingredient X-Solve. Here are more details.
HydroxyPro-Lift
Eyes and lips play a major role in how we perceive beauty, yet they are among the first areas to show signs of aging and fatigue. HydroxyPro-Lift enhances eye and lip appearance by boosting collagen synthesis, reducing signs of aging, and improving hydration and firmness.
HydroxyPro-Lift contains Dipalmitoyl Hydroxyproline, a lipophilic amino acid derivative that increases the expression of collagen and prevents its degradation via MMP-2 inhibition.
Benefits and Applications
- Eyes: delivers a lifting effect on the upper eyelid, boosts collagen synthesis, and reduces signs of fatigue; ideal for eye contour serums, lifting emulsions, and pro-aging skincare.
- Lips: enhances hydration for soft, plump lips and improves surface smoothness and appearance; ideal for lip balms, glosses, masks, and hydrating active make-up.
Chitorepair GPC
Chitorepair GPC is a film-forming vegan biopolymer derived from fungi and then delivered in GPC to improve its bioavailability. It has re-epithelialising properties, fostering the acceleration of wound healing and regeneration of skin tissues. It is suitable for skin, hair, and oral care, providing protective films and bacteriostatic activity.
Chitorepair GPC is a fantastic alternative to crustacean-derived chitosan. It is vegan, without allergy concerns (unlike shellfish), and is ideal for environmentally conscious formulators thanks to the fungal fermentation process.
Benefits and Applications
- Skincare: promotes hydration, wound healing, and skin repair; ideal for moisturisers, masks, and protective products.
- Hair Care: creates a protective film on hair, reduces friction, maintains hydration, and reduces dryness; ideal for conditioners, serums, and styling products.
- Oral Care: offers antibacterial, bioadhesive properties, prevents plaque, and protects teeth; ideal for toothpastes, mouthwashes, and xerostomia treatments.
X-Solve
X-Solve is a high-performance microcirculation modulator for skin, scalp and lips, that improves blood flow in superficial vessels thanks to its vasoactive properties. Sinerga have now released the results from a comprehensive programme of in vitro and in vivo testing:
Body
- Increased extracellular nitric oxide production by up to +37% in vitro, stimulating vasodilation and microvascular blood flow
- Improved capillary flow by +29% vs the non-encapsulated form, measurable within 30 minutes
- Reduced thigh circumference by an average of 0.7 cm and improved skin oxygenation by +5% after 3 weeks
- 70% of volunteers showed improvement in cellulite, with 55% progressing from edematous stage to complete absence
Scalp
- Improved scalp oxygenation by +3.5% over 3 weeks at 1%, supporting nutrient and oxygen delivery to follicles
- 100% of volunteers reported a healthier, improved scalp appearance
Lips
- At just 0.5%, delivered a +10% increase in lip volume and +9% improvement in lip colour within 2 weeks
- 100% of volunteers agreed on improvements across all measures, with 95% noticing results within the first week
