MACKAM® 2800 Powder is a 85% powdered form of high purity Cocamidopropyl Betaine (CAPB), with a ‘stripped’ alkyl distribution. It exhibits high-foaming properties even in high electrolyte solutions, and is compatible with anionic, nonionic and cationic surfactants. It also offers exceptionally low and stable colour as well as low residual odour. In addition, when compared with standard grades of Cocamidopropyl Betaine, this highly efficient ingredient exhibits better flash foam and viscosity building characteristics with lauryl sulphates, lauryl ether sulphates and alpha olefin sulphates in anionic-based systems. MACKAM® 2800 Powder can be used in toothpaste and mouthwash applications and is also ideal in applications where very low water content is required, such as water soluble sachets, syndet bars and solid shampoos.
Mackam BB/FLA
A high foaming betaine surfactant that demonstrates excellent stability properties over broad pH ranges. Typically it is used as a secondary surfactant in anionic based systems. MACKAM® BB/FLA improves overall foam quality and also helps improve formulation mildness.

MACKAM® 50ULB is a high active grade of cocamidopropyl betaine (CAPB) made from a low colour and odour, vegetable feedstock, 25% more concentrated than typical grades of CAPB which makes it hostile to microbial growth, eliminating the need for a preservative, boosts foam properties.

They are long lasting, non-volatile products that do not smell and are not corrosive to water systems. The active ingredient in MACKACIDE™ PQ & PQ 60 is being supported towards Annex 1 listing under the BDP (98/8/EC) as an algaecide for Product Type 2: Private area and public health area disinfectants and other biocidal products and Product Type 11: Preservatives for liquid cooling & processing systems.
