MACKACIDE™ PQ & PQ 60 are non-foaming and non-wetting biocides for use as algaecides in swimming pools & cooling water applications. They are long lasting, non-volatile products that do not smell and are not corrosive to water systems. They are compatible with commonly used bactericides and are effective against most forms of algae. The active ingredient in MACKACIDE™ PQ & PQ 60 is being supported towards Annex 1 listing under the BDP (98/8/EC) as an algaecide for Product Type 2: Private area and public health area disinfectants and other biocidal products and Product Type 11: Preservatives for liquid cooling & processing systems.
