Phenoxyethanol-Based Blends
The Neolone® range (BF, CF, HF and PH Max) pairs Phenoxyethanol with a second active depending on the formulation need, from Benzyl Alcohol and Caprylyl Glycol through to Ethylhexylglycerin and Pelargonic Acid, giving broad spectrum protection across a wide pH range for leave-on and rinse-off cosmetics. Purolan® PE N offers Phenoxyethanol as a standalone active for the same broad-spectrum role.
Isothiazolinone and Naturally Derived Actives
For rinse-off hair and skin care, Kathon® CG (CMIT/MIT), Neolone® 950 (Methylisothiazolinone) and Neolone® PE (Phenoxyethanol, Methylisothiazolinone) offer straightforward, low-use-level bactericidal protection, while Neolone® BioG brings a naturally derived alternative based on Ethyl Lauroyl Arginate HCl, effective against a wide range of Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria.

Glycol-Based Actives
Maxario® CAG (Caprylyl Glycol) and Maxario® EHG (Ethylhexylglycerin) boost preservative efficacy across a wide range of fungi and bacteria in both leave-on and rinse-off cosmetics.
Oral Care
Oxone™ (Potassium Caroate) is a non-chlorine oxidising agent used as a cleaning and bleaching component in oral care products such as denture cleansers and toothpaste, and has been trusted in the category for over 60 years.

In-Can Preservation
Isothiazolinone, Phenoxyethanol and Formaldehyde-Releaser Chemistries
The Preventol® range includes a wide choice of in-can preservatives for protecting water-based formulations such as polymer dispersions, coatings, adhesives, plasters and detergent bases during storage, including BIT 20D, BIT 20N, BIT IT, BMO, D2, D7, D12 and P91 alongside Bioban® PH100, Kathon® LX and LXE, and Rocima® 523. Between them these cover benzisothiazolinone, methylisothiazolinone, Phenoxyethanol and formaldehyde-releaser chemistries, so there’s usually an option to suit the pH, dilution and labelling requirements of a specific formulation.
Disinfection and Sanitising Actives
Chlorocresol, OPP and Glutaraldehyde Chemistries
Preventol® CMK (Chlorocresol) and O Extra (OPP) provide established biocidal and disinfectant chemistries[C1] .
Oxidising Agent
Oxone™ (Potassium Monopersulfate) also features in the HI&I range as a powerful, BPR approved, non-chlorine oxidising agent used as a cleaning and bleaching component.
