Suitable for all hair types, it works beautifully in everything from clear shampoos to masks and leave-on treatments.
Formulated from a carefully balanced combination of upcycled Avocado Oil and Dermalcare® LIA MB (Isoamyl Laurate), this new material offers a truly modern natural feel – both in wet and dry stages. It restores hydrophobicity, adds softness and shine, and helps hair stay clean and untangled, even after repeated use.

In-Salon Test Results
Dermalcare® AVOLIA MB has been thoroughly tested against amodimethicone in both sulfated and sulfate-free shampoo bases, using half-head salon trials on damaged Caucasian hair (damage level 3). Key findings include:
Sulfated chassis (0.5% active):
- Outperformed amodimethicone on flash foam, shine, and homogeneity
- Scored higher for softness and “untied” feel
- Dermalcare® AVOLIA MB was preferred in all 6 out of 6 consumer panels
Sulfate-free chassis (0.5% active):
- Clearly outperformed amodimethicone on shine
- Matched or exceeded performance on softness and cleanliness
- Dermalcare® AVOLIA MB was preferred in all 3 out of 3 consumer panels
