The DePHOS® Phosphate Esters range from Verdant Specialty Solutions delivers versatile performance across industrial cleaning, metalworking and specialist applications.
Why DePHOS® Phosphate Esters?
Verdant have developed a range of DePHOS® Phosphate Esters based on ethoxylated alcohols, phenol and alkylphenols. These products are produced via two chemical routes: polyphosphoric acid or phosphorus pentoxide. The selected route impacts the resulting product composition, particularly the ratio of mono-ester to di-ester components. Products are available in free acid or salt form.
DePHOS® Phosphate Esters offer tunability across multiple functional properties including detergency, wetting, hydrotroping, solubilisation, coupling, emulsification, particle dispersion, lubricity, anti-wear and extreme pressure additives, alkaline and acid stability, electrolyte tolerance, corrosion inhibition, high temperature stability, film-free rinse and biodegradability. Foaming can be high or low depending on grade selection.
Applications
Applications span industrial acid and alkaline detergents, oven cleaners, toilet bowl cleaners, metalworking fluids, metal cleaning, emulsion polymerisation, textile auxiliaries, lubricating and rolling oils, hydraulic and water-based cutting fluids and polishing lubricants.
DePHOS® Phosphate Esters Range
All DePHOS® phosphate esters listed here are based on ethoxylated alcohols, phenol and alkylphenols.
