MACKAM® 2800 Powder is a 85% powdered form of high purity Cocamidopropyl Betaine (CAPB), with a ‘stripped’ alkyl distribution. It exhibits high-foaming properties even in high electrolyte solutions, and is compatible with anionic, nonionic and cationic surfactants. It also offers exceptionally low and stable colour as well as low residual odour. In addition, when compared with standard grades of Cocamidopropyl Betaine, this highly efficient ingredient exhibits better flash foam and viscosity building characteristics with lauryl sulphates, lauryl ether sulphates and alpha olefin sulphates in anionic-based systems. MACKAM® 2800 Powder can be used in toothpaste and mouthwash applications and is also ideal in applications where very low water content is required, such as water soluble sachets, syndet bars and solid shampoos.
