Trealix is an active ingredient comprising of a natural disaccharide sugar with vegetable proteins. The sugar Trehalose as it was first associated with flora that tend to grow in dry and arid conditions as the sugar works by binding onto the water so it’s not lost to the environment around it, and so when it’s applied in many personal care formulation it helps lock that moisture deep within the skin. The use of the Hydrogenated Vegetable Proteins help mimic the composition of the Natural Moisturisation Factor of the skin. So when combined it provides an all-round moisturising effect on all types of skin.
